Attention livestock producers, predator calling and trapping enthusiasts, make plans to attend a Predator Control Seminar starting at 6:00 pm MT on Tuesday October 2nd, at the Sherman County 4-H building, in Goodland, KS. K-State Research and Extension Sunflower Extension District will be hosting this seminar. The featured speaker is Charles Lee, Kansas State University Extension Wildlife Specialist. Topics to be covered include: Coyote Behavior and Biology, proper use of mouth calls, proper use of electronic calls, best management practices for trappers, and Bobcat behavior and control. This seminar is to assist livestock producers in controlling predator population as well as the seasoned callers and trappers and the beginning youngsters just wanting to get started in this sport. This will be an exciting and informative seminar; all ages are encouraged to attend. The cost is $7.00 per person to cover the evening meal.
