  • All continuing Sherman County 4-H members must re-enroll and pay the annual State 4-H Enrollment Fee by December 1 of the current 4-H year to participate in the NW Kansas District Free Fair 4-H Division.  
  • As of December 1, Extension Office reminders will only be sent to currently enrolled 4-H families.
  • The last day to drop or add a project is May 1 of the current 4-H year. 
  • Some projects require enrollment prior to participation.

(2022) Help Wanted: Sunflower Extension District Summer position located in Goodland
and/or Sharon Springs; work includes various office tasks, 4-H events in Sherman and Wallace
Counties, and fair. Adults and college students are encouraged to apply. Position requires
standing, sitting, walking, lifting, twisting, bending, valid driver’s license, and work at outdoor
activities. May 16 – August 12, 2022 (flexible) up to 40 hours per week. Return applications to
the Sunflower Extension District, 813 Broadway, Rm 301, Goodland, KS 67735 or online
